Martian Beach 04

When you come to the Martian ocean, you can feel the tension in your body start to dissipate. The air is thick with the mist of sea spray and the horizon stretches out before you, a deep blue abyss meeting the sky at a blurry line. The sand is red here, but it's soft and powdery under your feet. You can see Martian palm trees swaying in the breeze, their long leaves rustling in the wind. As you walk closer to the water, you can see that it's teeming with life - strange fish swimming through the depths and little crabs scuttling along the shoreline. The water is surprisingly warm as you dip your toes in, and soon you're wading out into the shallows. It's so peaceful here, away from everything else on Mars. You can forget about your troubles for a little while and just enjoy being surrounded by this strange and beautiful world.
