Martian Meditation 01

The temple is a beautiful, serene place. The light filters in through the windows, casting a warm glow on the statues of the Martian deities. The air is thick with incense, and the sound of chanting can be heard softly in the distance. The Martians sit in lotus position on their cushions, eyes closed and hands resting lightly on their knees. They breathe deeply, letting the peace of the temple wash over them. Their minds are calm and still as they focus on their breath moving in and out of their bodies. They let go of all thoughts about past or future; there is only this moment, here in this sacred space. For a time they simply exist within themselves, lost in blissful meditation, but eventually even that fades away until there is nothing but pure awareness - an expansive emptiness filled with infinite possibilities.
