Martian Meditation 15

The temple is a place of peace and contemplation for the Martians. It is a space where they can go to connect with their innermost thoughts and feelings, and to find guidance from the universe. The temple is built on top of a sacred mountain, which overlooks the Red Planet's vast landscape. Inside the temple, there is a large statue of an ancient Martian god or goddess. The statue has been weathered by time, but its features are still clearly visible. The deity's eyes seem to follow you as you move around the room; it seems almost alive. There are no windows in the temple, but soft light fills the space nonetheless. It feels like being enveloped in a warm embrace. You sit down on one of the cushions that line the floor and close your eyes, letting yourself sink into deep meditation.
