Starbase Interior 35

The Starbase is a bustling center of activity, with travelers and scientists from all over Mars rushing to and fro. The large windows give an excellent view of space outside, and the main room is always abuzz with conversation. It's clear that everyone here loves what they do - there's a sense of excitement in the air that can't be found anywhere else on the planet. This is my home away from home; I've been coming to Starbase for years now, ever since I was first assigned to Martian mission control. It's a demanding job, but it's also incredibly rewarding. There isn't anything quite like watching our probes take off into the unknown or hearing about new discoveries made by our researchers. Even after all these years, I still get butterflies in my stomach every time I walk through those doors into the Starbase commons area. This place has inspired me more than any other location on Mars - it reminds me that there are infinite possibilities out there waiting to be explored...and that we have only just scratched the surface of what this amazing universe has to offer us!
