Orchids have always been a sign of wealth and luxury, but on Mars, they are simply a part of the natural landscape. In the rainforest, orchids grow in profusion, their delicate petals nodding in the breeze. The Martian atmosphere is thick and full of moisture, which makes for perfect growing conditions for these lovely flowers. They come in all colors—white, pink, purple—and each one is more beautiful than the last. In this dreamlike setting, it's easy to imagine that you're walking through an enchanted garden.
