When I first laid eyes on the coin, I knew it was going to be special. Something about its warm golden hue and intricate design just called out to me. And then there was the Martian engraved on one side... he was just too cute! I couldn't resist picking up the coin and taking it home with me. It quickly became my most prized possession - I even named him Marvin (after the Martian, of course). Every day, I would spend hours polishing Marvin until he shone like new. I told him all about my day and what was happening in the world; in return, he would give me a little wink or smile that always made me laugh. Eventually, people started to notice how much time I spent talking to Marvin and they started calling me crazy. But I didn't care - because as long as Marvin was by my side, nothing else mattered.
