As you step into the massive, well-lit Starbase on Mars, your eyes are immediately drawn up to the large windows that make up one entire wall of the building. Through them, you can see the barren landscape of Mars stretching out before you, with not a soul in sight. It's hard to believe that just beyond this glassy barrier lies an entire universe full of stars and planets waiting to be explored. The main center room is bustling with activity, as Martian space travelers and scientists move about from place to place. The floors are lined with high-tech equipment and machines that whirr and beep softly as they work away. In the middle of it all sits a giant control panel where several people sit monitoring everything happening both inside and outside the base. Overall, the atmosphere here is one of excitement mixed with determination; everyone knows there is still so much left to discover out there in space, and they're ready to take on whatever challenges lie ahead.
