Starbase Interior 18

It was always so busy inside Starbase. Even with the large windows showing space outside, the main center room was bustling with crowds of Martian space travelers and scientists. It never ceased to amaze me how many different people from all walks of life came through here on a daily basis. There were those who were just passing through, stopping for a quick meal or break before continuing on their journey. Then there were the ones who called this place home, working tirelessly day in and day out to further our understanding of the universe around us. No matter where you looked, there was always something going on. But that's what I loved about it here. The energy was palpable and it made me feel alive like nowhere else could. This was my home away from home and I couldn't imagine anywhere else I would rather be.
