Starbase Lab 17

The door hisses open and I step into the sterile white hallway. On either side of me are identical doors, each one leading to a different laboratory within the Starbase. I walk down the hall until I reach the lab that I am looking for. I step inside and am immediately blinded by the bright lights. It takes a moment for my eyes to adjust, but when they do I can see that this is like no other lab that I have ever seen before. Everything is so clean and polished, it looks more like an operating room than a science laboratory. In the center of the room there is a large table with various instruments on it. Around this table are several scientists in white lab coats who are busy conducting experiments. They don't even look up as I approach them; they are so focused on their work.
