Starbase Lab 30

The science laboratory on the Martian Starbase is a bright, clean room where scientists in white lab coats conduct experiments. The room is luminous and the walls are lined with shelves of equipment and supplies. The floor is covered with a grid of metal tiles that glow faintly blue. In the center of the room is a large glass cylinder filled with a green liquid. A scientist stands next to it, monitoring its progress. On one side of the room is a bank of computers, their screens displaying various data readings. Another scientist sits at them, inputting commands into one keyboard while keeping an eye on another screen. Nearby, two other scientists are working at separate tables strewn with beakers and test tubes filled with different colored liquids. They occasionally exchange muttered comments as they work; otherwise the only sound in the room comes from soft electronic humming emanating from somewhere overhead.
